2018 Carr Fire

The 2018 Carr Fire destroyed 1600+ structures and caused over $1.5 billion in damages. There were swimming pools all throughout this fires path of destruction. See the Google Satellite image below.

The Carr Fire started on July 23rd 2018 and didn’t reach the areas pictured above until close to 2 days later. The red markers show where over 200 homes were destroyed while the blue markers show where over 200 pools sat full. Firefighters could’ve used these pools to make it rain all over.

Let’s take a look at just one of these areas of destruction. See the google satellite image below.

The red markers show where over 75 homes were destroyed while the blue markers show where nearly 60 pools sat full. That’s over 1 million gallons of water sitting right where it was needed. See the Google Satellite image below.

The overlapped blue circles represent the outputs of just 30 systems placed at ½ of these pools. At full operation they would produce a whopping 48,000 gallons per minute. There are so many examples like this that can be given for the Carr fire. Homes should not burn while pools sit full. Firefighters can literally have the ability to make it rain.
