Remember important dates like family and friends Birthdays, Anniversary’s, etc. They will appreciate it.
Look after someone’s pet for them.
Learn the unknown names of people you see somewhat regularly. Then you can great them by name. It feels good to be recognized by name. It could be a Janitor, barista, security guard, customer, or whomever. Maybe even get to know them and have a little conversation from time to time.
Pay for someone’s dinner if you witness something of importance.It could be someone doing something kind, or a family with really well-mannered children, or you might just want to lift someone’s day that is dining alone.
Support families of troops that are deployed. If you know a family personally, thank them for their service and help out if you can. Things like yardwork and child sitting can be a huge help. If you don’t know a family personally, Operation Homefront offers many ways to help out.
